How to Use the Ripples Cloud Frame Builder: A Step-by-Step Tutorial

Welcome to the Ripples Cloud Frame Builder! This new tool allows you to easily create completely customized frames for use with your web app skin.

Part 1: Creating Your Custom Frames

1. Log In and Navigate: Log into the Ripples Cloud. In the mobile section, click on web app frames.
2. Start the Builder: Click create frame to access the new tool.
3. Choose a Template: You will see many different templates to choose from; definitely scroll and find the one that suits you best. You might find options that curve the text around the edge on the right-hand side of the frame.

4. Customize with Imagery or Text:

   • To use a Logo/Image: Tap replace image and template to select your desired logo or image.
   • To use Custom Text: Choose from different fonts (like Pacifico). Under "title," you can actually edit the text to write your own custom message. If the template includes a headline and a title, you can select the font and edit both texts.

   Note: The blank space within a frame is designed to leave room for adding text or images later when sending content through the Ripples web app.

5. Save the Frame: When you are ready and satisfied with your customization, click Create. You can repeat this process to create multiple customized frames.

Part 2: Applying Frames to Your Web App Skin

Once you have customized and saved your frames, you need to attach them to your web app skin for use at your location.

1. Access the Web App Builder: Go to the web app builder.
2. Select Your Skin: Click on the web app skin that you are currently using.
3. Open Frame Settings: Tap frames.
4. Add New or Existing Frames:
   • If you wish to create a frame specifically for this skin, you can click on the create frame button here and use the tool just as described above.
   • To use frames you created previously, look under my frames. Control-click all the frames that you just made and click save to add them into your Ripples web app skin.
   • You can also add Ripples shared frames provided by Ripples.
5. Tagging (Optional but Recommended): Using tags (such as "enjoy") will help you find frames in the future.
6. Update and Save: Click update to save your new frames on the web app builder. Your new frames are now ready to use!
