Everything you need to know about pods

All Pods:

• Optimized to print on a variety of foams
• Developed at our state-of-the-art food-tech lab and certified factory
• All pods are certified to comply with international safety regulations
• Gluten-free, non-GMO, 100% vegan, kosher
• Free of other allergens like dairy, soy and nuts
• Absolutely no artificial food coloring and we use natural preservatives 
• For Ripple Maker II Pro we recommend combining 2 different colors
• Ocean Blend and Jungle Blend are suitable for Ripple Maker II Pro only and generate a spectrum of colors
• Produces approximately 1,200 to 1,600 prints per pod, depending on the pod type. Image-based prints and selfies require more extract, reducing pod yield accordingly. Quantities also vary with storage conditions such as temperature and humidity.
• For best results, use within 30 days of opening. Store in a cool, dry place.

The Coffee Pod (Brown)

• made from roasted coffee extract and burnt sugar syrup
• light coffee aroma
• designed to print on coffees, hot or cold, hot chocolate, or milkshakes

The Malt Pod (Brown) — "Beer Pod"

• made from barley / malt extract
• odorless and tasteless
• specially formulated for beer foam — malt is one of beer's main ingredients, so it complements the drink naturally

The Carrot Pod (Red)

• made from black carrot extract
• odorless and tasteless
• designed to print on foamy drinks

The Glow Pod (Under UV light)

• made from Riboflavin (Vitamin B2)
• invisible under normal light — only reveals under UV/black-light
• prints invisible designs on any drink

The Chameleon Pod (Purple/Burgundy)

• made from cabbage extract
• odorless and tasteless
• color changes according to your drink's pH
• best for printing on macarons

The Ocean Blend

• contains 2 pods: Chameleon Pod (cabbage juice) and Plus Pod, a pH-adjusting solution
• blue, purple, magenta color scale — changes according to your drink's pH
• odorless and tasteless
• generates an amazing spectrum of color prints
• for Ripple Maker II Pro only

The Jungle Blend

• contains 2 pods: Chameleon Pod (cabbage juice) + Sun Pod (Riboflavin/Vitamin B2 color adjuster)
• green, yellow, magenta color scale — changes according to your drink's pH
• odorless and tasteless
• generates an amazing spectrum of color prints
• for Ripple Maker II Pro only

Ripple Maker II Pro 2 Pod functionality

The magic behind the Ripple Maker II Pro is the ability to print with two pod cartridges at once. You can use a mixture of different pods resulting in a variety of different colors and effects!

There are 3 different types of designs when printing with a Ripple Maker II Pro.

1. Single-colour designs will print using the default pod, one extract at a time. In the photo below we used the Chameleon pod alone on a cappuccino. 

2. Multi-Color designs will print using both pods simultaneously with an overlap of extracts resulting in a spectrum of colour when printing. Multi-Color must be enabled in the Settings Menu. In the photo below we used the Ocean Blend on a cappuccino. 

3. Two-colour designs do not overlap in the different extracts resulting in two distinct colors, Plus Pod does not work when printing two-color designs because Plus prints are invisible.  In the photo below we used the Chameleon and Coffee Pods on a cappuccino. 

You can mix and match all of the Ripples Pods except for Sun and Plus Pods. These two pods work only with the Chameleon Pod to adjust the pH resulting in a spectrum of colors.

In the photo below we used Coffee & Carrot Pods and switched the pods from the left holder to the right holder to get the different color combinations.
